The Port of Harlingen is a regional port located right next to the beautiful Wadden area, in the Northern part of the Nethelands. The port plays an important role in the region as a logistics hub and job engine. Our ambition? In 2035, Port of Harlingen will be the sustainable maritime and logistics heart of the Northern Netherlands. Together with our partners, we are setting a course for sustainable growth.
NV Port of Harlingen is an independent port company, with the municipality of Harlingen as its sole shareholder. We are responsible for the economic development, management, maintenance and operation of the ports in Harlingen. In addition, we are responsible for maintaining a safe and smooth handling of shipping. We do this for, and in close cooperation with, our partners.
